Sorry about the few and far between posts kids, it’s just been a hectic month.
If anyone knows me well you’ll know that I’m never not “on”. As per usual, the month has been pretty hectic but on top of that, it’s been stressful trying to juggle wedding planning and transitioning into a new role for work. But I guess I’ve had some fun adventures amidst everything. I mean, I just came back from a memorable trip in New York and amazing birthday weekend in Tasmania with my lovers (post to come)
There’s just little over six months until the wedding and things have been slightly manic trying to get all of it to happen. We’re also trying to organise a mini trip to Vietnam at the end of the month to get our traditional dresses made for the wedding (wee!). As if planning one wedding wasn’t enough, trying to plan two is almost like shooting yourself in the foot. Luckily, I have an amazing set of friends that help me get me through. These past few months have really challenged organisational skills – which is usually on point if I do say so myself.
Somewhere in between all of that, I managed to rangle an outfit together for this shoot. This skirt was an amazing find at H&M during a spontaneous shopping trip pre-dinner. This skirt is one of those pieces you can easily work with and dress to whatever your mood vibes on. You can dress it old school with a denim shirt to channel the 70’s vibes or class it with a simple white shirt and killer heels as I’ve done here. With the weather already starting to feel like summer, it won’t be long until this skirt, along with a white tee and trusty white converses will become my go-to weekend wear.
